Ken Fury is a man who follows his surname. His experimental hard edged music is both dark and aggressive. There is part of his music that could happily take you clubbing but the synths are surrounded by harsh percussion, violent sounds and Ken’s unusual vocal delivery. Each track is like a nightmarish assault that reminds me a little of Gazelle Twin but also of darkwave artists like We Are Temporary and The Knife.
‘Distance of Eyes’ is the new single from Ken Fury. It features visuals from his Northern New Mexico homeland and deals with the cycle of life and death. It also incorporates Native American and Hispanic elements too whilst Ken banishes his demons audibly. It comes from his newly released album ‘Rain Over Clouds’ which I’ll be reviewing later this year. Enjoy the music video below.
